Terms & Conditions

Estimates and Payment Terms
Our cost estimates are for the purpose of providing a prospective client with an indication of what our services will cost based on the scope of work and its turnaround time. On agreeing to an estimated cost with a client, we will stick to that cost, or inform our client of any additional work that might impact on the final cost prior to proceeding with said work. All transactions concerning cost estimates, scope of work and timing are to be agreed in writing between wordsandwork and a client prior to proceeding with a commission.
Our standard payment terms are net 14 days. Other terms can be negotiated for repeat clients and for work undertaken over extended periods of time. Late payment of invoices will be charged at 8 per cent plus the Bank of England's base rate for each day overdue.
Contracts and Non-disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
Unless otherwise agreed with a client, our terms of engagement are subject to English contract Law.
wordsandwork is accustomed to working within the terms of NDAs, Confidentiality Agreements and similar, typically working with specific agreements issued by a client. We take issues of non-disclosure, confidentiality, copyright and other proprietary rights seriously, believing these to be essential to good business practice.
